BABSON PARK, Fla. (November 10, 2018) – The 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Team, selected by CoSIDA, was released on Thursday and included Webber International University senior defender Kendelle Knapp as a First-Team All-District I selection.

The native of Tampa, Florida, who boasts a 4.0 grade point average in criminal justice management, started in all 16 matches for the Warriors in 2018. She was a defensive stopper all season long and was a vocal leader for the Warriors backline.

Knapp has made the Dean's List and was a recipient of the Coaches' Award at Webber in 2017. She played as the top returner on the defensive side of the ball for Webber all season. Before the season started, Knapp participated in a community service project in which the Warriors made a meal for the Babson Park Fire Station.

The 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The Google Cloud Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team (if necessary) Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.

The Google Cloud Academic All-District® teams are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada.

The Division II and III Google Cloud Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2018-19 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA Google Cloud Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
