BABSON PARK, Fla.—The Webber men's tennis team played Cornerstone and #9 Cardinal Stritch University this week. The Warriors fell 0-9 to both teams.
Andrew Scott had a very strong showing for Webber against Cornerstone. Scott appeared as the #1 seed in both singles and doubles for the Warriors. He ended up losing a tough battle to Marc Lerch from Cornerstone (7-6, 6-0) and then had a shot at redemption playing with Claudini Frediani against Lerch and Francisco Fernandez, losing 8-4 to the pair of Golden Eagles.
The Warriors also took on the 9
th ranked Wolves from Cardinal Stritch University. The Wolves came away with a 9-0 win over the Warriors.
Webber will return to their home courts on Thursday March 9
th at 1 pm when they take on Judson University. Go Warriors!!!
