Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 BABSON PARK, Fla. – In a matchup to two top 25 teams in the country, they both found way to show why they're ranked. Webber took game 1 in the bottom of the 7th, 1-0. Grandview took game two in the top of the 7th, 8-6.

GAME 1: Freshman Power Past Vikings, White Throws 4 Hit Complete Game, Schutzler Scores Game Winner

The Warriors were set to face one of the best pitchers in the country in Grand Views, Farrell. She entered today's game with a 5-0 0.68 ERA. Farrell held the Warriors to only 4 hits. What Grandview didn't know, is that the Warriors would fire they're freshman, Raven White at them. Raven threw a 7 inning complete game only walking 1 and striking out two while not allowing any runs. As the bottom of the 7th rolled around, the score still sat at 0-0 as both teams only had 4 hits apiece. Webb, the Vikings catcher, lost track of strike 3 to Meghan Lindell, so Lindell took off to first and was safe after Webb threw the ball into right field. The freshman Anna Schutzler, came into pinch run for Lindell. Kaitlin Cockroft then dropped a bunt down and moved Schutzler to second. Another wild pitch from Ferrell would advance Schutzler to third. After Cassidy Roberts drew a walk, Ka'Deisha McCowen drew a walk and quickly the bases were loaded. Ferrell would lose track of another pitch and Schutzler was quick to jump as she scampered home beating the throw and scoring the game winning run for the Warriors.

STAT LINE: Raven White had 7 innings pitched throwing a complete game and earning her 1st win of the year.

GAME 2: Hazen Drives In 4 RBI's, 4 Run 7th Gives Vikings Win

The second game of the double header was much different than the first. The offense for both teams opened up. The Warriors jumped out to an early 2 -0 lead in the bottom of the 1st as Brandi Hazen hit a double scoring Ka'Deisha McCowen. Then Victoria Atkinson singled in Hazen. Cassidy Roberts grounded in Falco. With the Vikings leading 4-3 in the bottom of the 5th, Brandi Hazen again came through and hit a bases clearing double scoring 3 runs. The Warriors led 6-4 going into the top of the 7th. GrandView scored 3 in the top of the 7th and then held off the Warriors to take game 2.

STAT LINE: Brandi Hazen went 3-4 with 4 RBI's. Ka'Deisha McCowen went 2-4 with 2 runs scored.

FINAL THOUGHTS: This was a fantastic matchup between both teams and both ranked in the top 20 in the nation. They showed it as they spilt the double header. The Warriors will now have a couple days off as they take on the University of South Carolina Beaufort in a matchup of the Sun Conference this Friday starting at 4:00 p.m.
