Box Score LAKE WALES, Fla. – Webber International University Warriors baseball moves to 2-0 on the season after today's 12-6 win against the Warner Royals.

The Warriors led 5-0 going into the bottom of the fourth inning as the Royals notched 3 runs to get on the board making it 5-3. An offensive outpour saw the Warriors go ahead 9-4 in the 7^th inning right before Marcus Beggs smacked a 3-run shot scoring Matt Piatt and Sjaghbar Martis extending the lead to 12-4. The Royals scrapped together 2 more runs but couldn't close the gap as Webber held the lead and took home a 12-6 victory.

Marcus Beggs led the Warriors offensively as he went 3-5 at the plate with 1 BB and 4 RBI's. Manny Rodriguez was on fire as he went 3-4 at the plate drawing 2 BB and scoring 4 runs.

Juan Terron moves to 1-0 on the year off the mound as he threw 5 innings only surrendering 3 hits and 3 earned runs with 2 K's.
The Warriors hit 4 doubles, 1 triple and 1 homerun while stealing 4 bags in the game.

Webber will travel Wednesday, February 8^th, at 6:00 p.m. to NCAA D-II Eckerd College to take on the Tritons in one 9 inning non-conference matchup. Go Warriors!!!
