Lady Warriors Strike FMU Lions 71-46

Box Score BABSON PARK, Fla. – Webber International entered last night's game fresh off an 0-3 stint against the powerful Appalachian Athletic Conference. They took on the visiting Florida Memorial University Lions in a matchup of the Sun Conference. The Warriors locked in and were able to thump the Lions 71-46.

The Warriors offense took off last night as they put up 71 points against the conference foe. As well as their defense stood their ground only allowing 46 points. Webber was led offensively by Quanthavia Stalworth as she continues to power through defenses. Stalworth put up 14 points shooting 60% from the field and helped out defensively with 4 rebounds, 1 block and a steal. Leading defensively was Shalontay Rose as she had 4 rebounds and was a wall with 3 blocks on the night.

The lady Warriors travel across the lake on Saturday to face the Warner University Royals in the bitter Lake Caloosa rivalry. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Go Warriors!!!
