Lady Warriors Volleyball Sweeps Columbia and Reinhardt

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Marietta, GA. – The Webber International University Lady Warriors Volleyball swept both matches today. First they faced off against Columbia College, then next against Reinhardt University moving their overall record to 8-1.

Against Columbia College, Tessa Colden led the offense with 10 kills. Katie Schueman had 8 kills and Nikki McDaniel had 6 kills. Carlee Baxter stayed strong with her 29 assists. Michelle Calderon had 17 digs, Nikki McDaniel, 11 digs, and Gilmary Ramos finished with 10 digs. They won the matchup 3-0 with scores of 25-14, 25-18, 25-15.

The last match of the Running Eagle Classic for the Warriors was against Reinhardt University. The Lady Warriors came out strong as they bested Reinhardt 25-6, 25-23, 25-21. Carlee Baxter had 25 assists, Michelle Calderon 18 digs.

The Lady Warriors went 3-1 at the Running Eagle Classic; their first loss of the season came at the hands of Life University, the hosts of the tournament. However, the Lady Warriors are off and running themselves as they now boast a 8-1 overall season record.

The next matchup for the Lady Warriors Volleyball team will be the opening of Sun Conference play against the Ave Maria Gyrenes. This match will take place in Ave Maria, Fla. on September 10th at 2:00 p.m. Go Warriors!!!
