Box Score BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Warrior's men's soccer team took the field against St. Andrew's of North Carolina today. Unfortunately, for the Warriors it was the Knights that came out on top with a final score of 3-4.
The Warriors were certainly not out matched today as they fell to the Knights.
Sean Whalen struck first with the assistance of
Noel Francis knocking one in the back of the net from 10 yards out. Next was
Driss Baraket, who headed a ball off the pass from
Ross Clarke that found its way into the net. Just seven minutes later,
Sean Whalen scored again, this time off a free kick from
Ross Clarke and that too was a header for a goal.
The Warriors fought a good battle but ended up falling short to the Knights, dropping their record to 0-1-1 on the season. Webber looks to bounce back when they play Eckerd Wednesday September 7th, at 7:00 p.m. and that game is located at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg Fla.
