Box Score 2 BABSON PARK, Fla – Warriors softball split the double header today against the visiting Sand Sharks of South Carolina Beaufort. The first game was a Warriors win 4-2. The second game found the Sand Sharks the victor's 3-4.
In the first game Erica Bellinger, yet again, had a fantastic outing as she got the win by only surrendering 2 runs on 7 innings pitched. The Warriors offense put up 4 run off of 12 hits.

Megan Isoba split the RBI's 2 and 2 for the game giving the Warriors a 4-2 win.
Game two was a well fought battle that just didn't go the Warriors way. With bases full of Sand Sharks in the top of the 6th inning, a crucial balk was called on Warriors pitcher Melonie Murphy that gave the Sand Sharks the lead 4-3. Murphy bounced back by striking out the next hitter to end the inning, then striking out the next two hitters in the top of the 7th giving the Warriors a chance. In the bottom of the 7th the Warriors found themselves with bases loaded and 2 outs. A sharp ground ball down the third baseline found its way into the glove of Sand Sharks third baseman, as she stepped on third to seal the win for the Sand Sharks 3-4.
The Warriors will look to their next series against the visiting South Eastern University Fire. The last Sun Conference matchup of the year for the Warriors, they sit in 2nd place right behind the Fire making it a huge weekend matchup.
