Box Score 2 BABSON PARK, Fla. – Webber International University baseball closed out a series with Thomas University, Saturday, with an afternoon doubleheader. The Warriors were dominant in both games, winning out 9-3 and 8-3, to sweep the Night Hawks.
Sjaghbar Martis closed out the weekend strong, going 3-9 with a RBI. Lenin Sanchez's power streak continued into the second day of action with another home run.
Taylor Layner picked up his fourth win of the season after going for seven innings, allowing only two runs and striking out six batters.

the Warriors fought off the Night Hawks early, eventually pulling away late.
Mike Castilla and Daniel Timmons pushed home three runs in the bottom of the first with RBI singles, giving the Warriors a, 3-1, lead.
Castilla picked up his second RBI of the game after reaching first on an error in the bottom of the fifth. Sanchez blasted a homerun to deep left center in the sixth, pushing Webber International's advantage to 6-2.
Castilla's great day got better in the seventh, after he picked up a solo homerun of his own.
The Warriors closed the game out in the eighth, taking down the Night Hawks, 9-3.

A consistent and balanced attack led Webber International to its third victory.
The Warriors wasted no time getting on the board, after Layner ripped a two-run single up the middle in bottom of the first.
Thomas would go on to tie the game up, 2-2, in the fourth, but the Warriors had an answer. Sanchez pushed home a run with a sharply hit grounder to first.
Layner continued his offensive outburst with a RBI double.
Webber International ended the game with four unanswered runs, including Layner's fourth RBI of the game.
The Warriors would secure the sweep with the, 8-3, victory.
