Box Score BABSON PARK, Fla. – Webber International University baseball hosted Indiana Tech, Friday. The Warriors would come from behind for a second-consecutive night, defeating the Warriors, 4-3.
Taylor Layner went 3-4 on the night, with Daniel Aviles knocking three of the Warriors' runs. Webber International went deep into its bullpen again, with five Warriors pitching at least one inning.
Indiana Tech came out fast, scoring two runs in the top of the first.
Webber International would find an answer in the bottom of the third. After a Daniel Timmons leadoff single, Aviles tied the game up, 2-2, with his first homerun of the season.
Indiana Tech retook the lead in the sixth at 3-2.
With time running out, Webber International mounted another come back. In the bottom of the eight, Derrick Pezon picked up an RBI single through the left side.
Jose Serrano came into pitch in the top of the ninth and kept the game even.
The Warriors open the bottom half of the inning with a single, a double and intentional walk, loading the bases with one out on the board. Aviles walked off with a sacrifice fly deep to center field, securing the win, 4-3.
