Box Score BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University Warriors women's basketball team got off to a slow start this year but certainly played well last night against a top 25 foe. They took on the #23 Milligan College Buffaloes and came out on top 74-66.
It was a great win for the Warriors to get them back on the right track. The Warriors featured two players that scored over 20 points.
Quanthavia Stalworth tore it up as she made 10-15 from the field and had 10 rebounds for a double double. To add onto that she was able to block 3 shots and came away with 3 steals.
Victoria Baggett was not far behind as she hit 7-9 from the field, 3-3 with 3 pointers, 4-4 at the free-throw line. She put up 21 points and was very thrifty as she came away with 5 steals on the night.
With last nights win the Warriors move to 4-6 on the year and the Buffaloes drop to 9-6. The Warriors will now have a little bit of time off until they compete again at the Challenge in Miami the 28
