Box Score AVE MARIA, Fla. – The Webber International University men's soccer team traveled to Ave Maria yesterday for a Sun Conference matchup. The Warriors scored late in the 2^nd half and came home with a 1-0 victory.
 
The 1^st half was very defensive for the Warriors as they only registered 4 shots to Ave's 15. Randy Chesson the Keeper for the Warriors had 9 saves alone in the 1^st half.
 
The 2^nd half saw the Warriors come out firing as they put up 20 shots and held Ave to just 5 shots. In the 85^th minute, Tim Stanford found himself open at the top of the box and ripped a shot that found the back of the net with what ended up being the games only goal.
 
This was the Warriors first Sun Conference win as they move to 1-4 in TSC and 3-4-1 overall. They next take on the Southeastern University Fire in Lakeland, Fla. at Southeastern on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Go Warriors!
