Box Score BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University Warriors baseball team traveled to WHERE to take on the Eckerd College Tritons. The Warriors came back to win over the Tritons in the eighth inning, with a final score of 9-7.
Leading the Warriors on the field were: Lenin Sanchez, going 3 for 4 at the plate, with 2 runs and 2 RBI's; AJ Arroyo, going 2 for 5 at the plate, scoring 2 runs and 4 RBI's; Taylor Reeves, with 1 run; Taylor Laynor with 1 hit; Ramone Sanchez with one hit; Jacob Lopez going 2 for 5 at the plate, scoring 2 runs; and Kris Hodges, going 2 for 4, scoring 2 runs.
Derrick Pezon collected the win for the Warrior's pitching staff and Nathan Burke collected his fifth save.
The Warriors will return to action on Friday, April 3rd as the team travels to Miami to take on St. Thomas University Bobcats at 6 p.m. ?
