BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University Warriors baseball team hosted Sun Conference opponent Warner University Royals for the Warriors for Warriors Salute to the Troops match up in honor of those who have served and are currently serving in the United States military.
 
The Warriors scored one run in the bottom of the first.  Both teams were scoreless in the second inning.  The Royals cored one run in the top of the third, to tie the game 1-1.  Both teams were scoreless in the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings. In the bottom of the seventh, the Warriors scored a two-base hit followed by another two-base hit to score a run and break the tie. The Royals were scoreless in the top of the eighth.  The Warriors came alive in the bottom of the eighth scoring 3 runs, putting the Warriors on top, 5-1

The Warriors will return to action on Saturday, April 11^th as they host Warner in a double header starting at 12 p.m. on Heart of Florida Field.
