BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University Warriors baseball team hosted Saint Xavier University Cougars in a double-header starting at 4:00 p.m. The Warriors program has been around for 22 years and today they reached their 600
th win after sweeping the Cougars in today's double-header. Coach 
Brad Niethammer was hired in 1993 and started the baseball program at Webber. Niethammer is one of the top 25 winningest active coaches in the NAIA and the Warriors program helped him reach his 600
th win as a coach tonight. 
GAME ONEThe Warriors started off strong putting the first run on the board in the bottom of the first inning as 
Taylor Reeves hit a double scoring 
AJ Arroyo, 1-0. In the bottom of the second inning Webber extended their lead as 
T.J. Crowe scored on a 
Kris Hodges ground out to first, 2-0. The Warriors scored another run in the bottom of the third inning when 
T.J. Crowe reached on an error scoring 
Cody Warren, 3-0. Webber scored another run in the bottom of the fourth on a wild pitch bringing in 
Lenin Sanchez, 4-0. The Cougars had bases loaded in the top of the fifth when Damon Softcheck grounded into a double play and Declan Dennehy scored breaking the shutout, 4-1. The Warriors responded in the bottom of the fifth as 
Ramon Sanchez scored on a wild pitch, 5-1. In the bottom of the sixth inning the Warriors scored two runs 
Ramon Sanchez homered and 
AJ Arroyo scored on a wild pitch winning the game for the Warriors 7-1 in seven innings.
Matthew Gulik collected the win for the Warriors pitching staff. 
GAME TWOThe Warriors started off game two where they left off in game one scoring the first run in the bottom of the first as 
Lenin Sanchez stole third base an then scored on the overthrow, 1-0. The Warriors

Joey Howes single in the bottom of the third inning. 
Lewis Alex Rodriguez singled scoring 
Joey Howes giving the Warriors a 4-0 lead going into the fourth. The Cougars scored their first run in the top of the fourth inning, 4-1. In the bottom of the fourth inning the Warriors 
Kris Hodges scored on a wild pitch, 5-1. Saint Xavier tied the game in the top of the fifth inning as they scored four runs of the Warriors, 5-5. Webber responded in the bottom of the sixth inning as 
Lewis Alex Rodriguez hit a home run and 
AJ Arroyo drove in 
Lenin Sanchez with a single, 7-5. The Cougars scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning to take the lead for the first time, 8-7. Warriors respond scoring three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning with a three run walk-off homerun by 
Taylor Reeves scoring 
Lewis Alex Rodriguez and Derric Pezon to win the game 10-8.  
Nathan Burke collected the dramatic win for the Warriors pitching staff.
The Warriors record improves to 14-10 overall and they remain 4-5 in The Sun Conference. The Cougars record falls to 0-2 for the season. 
The Warriors return to action on Saturday, March 7
th as they host Bellevue University starting at 12:00 p.m. Come support the Warriors as they try to extend their winning streak to four games.
