BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University Warriors baseball team hosted conference opponent Northwood University Seahawks for the final game of their three game series. The Warriors fell to the Seahawks in game one with a final score of 8-4.
 
The Seahawks put the first run on the board in the top of the first inning, 1-0. The Warriors responded in the bottom of the inning tying the game with a run of their own, 1-1. In the top of the second inning the Seahawks scored three runs, 4-1. Nothwood scored one run in the top of the third and fourth innings to go up 6-1 over the Warriors. Webber scored their second run in the bottom of the fourth inning, 6-2. Both team scored one run in the eighth and ninth innings to end the game 8-4 Seahawks on top.
 
The Warriors record falls 9-8 overall and 4-5 in conference play. Webber will return to action on Monday, March 2^nd as they host Bethel University starting at 6:00 p.m.
