BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University Warriors baseball team hosted conference opponent Northwood University Seahawks for game one of their three game series. The Warriors fell to the Seahawks in game one with a final score of 8-1.
 
The Seahawks put the first runs on the board in the top of the first inning scoring two runs, 2-0. The Warriors responded in the bottom of the fourth as AJ Arroyo reached first base on an error by the Seahawks' shortstop which allowed Cody Warren to score bringing the Warriors within one, 2-1. In the top of the sixth inning the Seahawks would score six run to go up, 8-1, and would continue to shut down the Warriors offense.  
 
The Warriors record falls 9-6 overall and 4-3 in conference play. Webber will return to action on Saturday, February 28^th as they host Northwood University in a double-header starting at 12:00 p.m.
