AVE MARIA, Fla. – The Webber International University Warriors baseball team traveled to Ave Maria to take on Ave Maria University Gyrenes in a three game conference series. The Warriors came out on top of game one 11-3.
 
Leading the Warriors on the field were: AJ Arroyo went two for four at the plate with two RBI's and two runs; Jacob Lopez was one for four at the plate and scored two runs; Cody Warren also hit one for four and scored two runs; Ramon Sanchez went one for four with one RBI and one run scored; and Lenin Sanchez went one for five with two runs scored and one RBI.
 
Sean Stanislawsiki collected the win for the Warriors pitching staff.
 
The Warriors record improves to 7-4 overall and 2-2 in The Sun Conference. Webber will return to action tomorrow as they finish the three game series against Ave Maria starting at 11:30 a.m.
