TAMPA, Fla. – Webber International University women's soccer visited the University of Tampa, Monday, falling to the Spartans, 5-0.

The first half saw the Warriors fight hard against NCAA Division-2 opposition. Webber International went down early, seeing Tampa score in the fourth minute. Jenna Murphy and Cierra Abundez both took good strong shoots but could not find the equalizer. The Spartans were able to score again the 28th minute. Just before halftime, Laura Borders found herself with some space but saw her shoot sail just over the cross bar.

The second half saw Spartans take control of the game. In the 50th minute, Tampa was able to score again, going ahead. 3-0. Murphy was active in the second half, firing off four of the Warriors five shots. Late in the match, Tampa was able to score two quick goals, securing the Warriors, 5-0, defeat.

The Warriors close out the 2015 season, Friday, October 30, when they host archrivals Warner.
