Last Time Out
The Warriors are coming off a tough loss to Point University, last Saturday.
The Warriors opened the game with a grinding 17-play eight-minute drive. Webber International methodically moved the ball down the field with the run game, capped off by a goal line dive from quarterback Garry Chouloute to take an early, 7-0, lead.
Point hit back, scoring the next three touchdowns to go ahead, 21-7. Just before halftime, Chouloute took off for a 27-yard run, crossing the goal line to cut the Point lead to 21-14.
The Warriors dominated the third quarter, shutting out Point and scoring the only touchdown of the quarter. Darius Page opened the scoring drive with a massive 39-yard run right up the middle of the Sky Hawk defense. Two plays later, Chouloute scampered for a 14-yard touchdown run, tying the game up at 21-21.
Early in the fourth, Point found themselves in the red zone, but Edward Roberts forced an important fumble to keep the game even. With seven minutes to play, Point blocked a Warriors punt, which led to the eventual game-winning field goal.
