BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University Warriors basketball team hosted #20 in the nation, Thomas University Night Hawks Wednesday night at 5 p.m. in the Sabbagh Athletic Center. The Warriors took the win over the Night Hawks, 72-70.
Leading the Warriors on the court were:
Raymond Durant, with 10 points, 6 assists, 2 rebounds, and 1 steal;
Dewaine Lyals, with a double double, scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds, and 1 block;
Jovany Deceus with 12 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks; and
Maynard Rowe with 9 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 steal.
Webber's record improves to 5-10 overall and 2-1 in The Sun Conference. The Night Hawks record falls to 11-2 overall and 2-1 in The Sun Conference.
The Warriors will return to action on Saturday, January 10
th as they host Florida Memorial University Lions.
