BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University Lady Warriors basketball team traveled to Johnson & Wales University over the weekend to take on the Lady Wildcats in a conference matchup. The Lady Warriors took the win, 88-70.
Leading the Warriors on the court were:
Deslyn Applewhaite, with 11 points, 2 steals, 4 assists, and 5 rebounds; LaQuandra Brazill, with 31 points, 3 steals, 7 assists, and 6 rebounds;
Jurnee Pettigrew, with 18 points, 1 assist, and 4 rebounds; and
Quanthavia Stalworth, with 12 points, 1 assist, and 5 rebounds.
The Lady Warriors record improves to 14-3 overall and 7-2 in The Sun Conference.
Their next game will be Wednesday, January 28
th against Crooked Lake rival, Warner University Lady Royals at 5 p.m. at Warner University.
