BABSON PARK, Fla. – This Saturday, September 6^th at 1:00p.m. the second annual rivalry game from across the lake kicks off. It happens to be the opening game for both teams in the Sun Conference play. Each team is looking to come back from a week one loss. The Warner Royals took a loss to Stetson University 16-35. The Webber Warriors dropped their first game to the #10 ranked team in the NAIA Faulkner University, with a score of 20-34.
This is not your normal rivalry game; this week is for the conference win and bragging rights for yet another year. Last years game featured the Warriors leaving victorious with a score of 23-0. Who will be the victor of WWII? Webber vs. Warner! The game will be held at Legion Field in Lake Wales, Florida and Warner is the home team, so Webber fans will need to go to www.warnerroyals.universitytickets.com for ticket information.
