LAKELAND, Fla. – The Webber International University Lady Warriors soccer team traveled to Lakeland to open conference play against Southeastern University Lady Fire. The Lady Warriors shut-out the Lady Fire with a decisive 6-0 victory.
 
Leading the Lady Warriors on the field were; Gloria Gomez with one goal on three shots; Lauren NyGren with one goal on one shot; Cierra Avundez with one goal on two shots; Laura Borders with one goal on one shot and one assist; Philippa Wilson with one goal on three shots; Jenna Murphy with one goal on two shots; and Kayla Hanel with six saves for the Lady Warriors.
 
The Lady Warriors record improves to 1-3 overall and 1-0 in The Sun Conference.
 
Webber women's soccer will return to action on Saturday, September 27^th as they face Ave Maria in Ave Maria, Florida starting at 4:30 p.m.
