Box Score BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University Warriors men's soccer team opened conference play as they hosted the Florida Memorial University Lions on Warriors Field. The Warriors lost to the Lions with a final score of 3-1.
 
The Lions struck first in the 6^th minute of the game giving them a 1-0 lead over the Warriors. Then in the 10^th minute the Lions extend their lead scoring another goal 2-0. The Warriors responded with a goal from Callum Donnelly in the 32^nd minute of the game, 2-1 Lions on top. After half time the Warriors were pressing hard but were unable to find the back of the net. The Lions put the game away as they scored in the 83^rd minute. The Lions won the game 3-1.
 
Leading the Warriors on the field was Callum Donnelly with his lone goal.
 
The Warriors record falls to 4-2 overall and 0-1 in The Sun Conference. The Lions record improves to 4-3 overall and 1-0 in The Sun Conference.
 
The Warriors will return to action on Saturday, September 27^th as they host conference opponent Saint Thomas University starting at 3:30 p.m.
