BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University Warriors baseball team hosted Ave Maria in a very important conference matchup. The Warriors collected the win over Ave Maria with a final score of 1-0.
 
The game started at 7:00 p.m. with both teams getting locked in a defensive battle. In the bottom of the seventh inning the Warriors broke the deadlock as they scored the only run of the game. Josh Ganus collected the shutout for the Warriors' pitching staff as well as the win.
 
Leading the Warriors on the field were: Cody Warren going one for two at the plate scoring the only run and Ramon Sanchez collected the only RBI of the game.
 
The Warriors improve to 23-22 overall and move to 8-11 in The Sun Conference. Webber will be back in action on Saturday, April 5^th as they host Ave Maria in a double-header to end the conference series starting at 12:00 p.m.
