Box Score ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The Webber International University Warriors baseball team traveled to St. Petersburg to face off against Eckerd College. The Warriors returned with a 7-1 victory over the Tritons.
 
Webber put the first runs on the board in the top of the fourth innings as they scored two runs. The Tritons responded in the bottom of the inning scoring their only run of the game. In the top of the fifth inning the Warriors scored two more runs. Then in the top of the seventh inning Webber extended their lead scoring another run. The Warriors put the game away in the top of the ninth inning scoring the last two runs winning 7-1 over the Tritons.
 
Leading the Warriors on the field were: Shae Cothran going two for five at the plate while scoring two runs; Austin Aubuchon going one for five and scored one run; Dylan Price going two for four scoring one run and had two RBI's.
 
The Warriors record improves to 22-22 overall and will return to action on Friday, April 4^th as they host conference opponent Ave Maria University starting at 7:00 p.m.
