BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University men's tennis team blanked Ave Maria today, on the WIU Campus Courts, 9-0. The Warriors improved their conference and overall record to 2-1.
 
The Warriors opened the match by sweeping all three doubles matches. Johnathan Cohen and Mislav Colak got the ball rolling with an 8-2 win at number one. Nicholas Kammer and Nickolay Kodinov won 8-1 at number two and Rodrigo Santibanez and Justus Kolcke followed with an 8-4 win at number three.
 
Singles results: #1 – Kammer won 7-6 (5), 5-0, ret. #2 – Cohen won 5-7, 6-0, 10-3. #3 – Colak won 6-1, 6-2. #4- Kodinov won 6-2, 6-2. #5 Santibanez won 6-1, 6-3. #6 – Klocke won 6-0, 6-1.
 
The Warriors return to action on Sunday, February 23, at 11:00 a.m. at Star Island Resort in Kissimmee. They will be playing NCAA-I, Mount St. Mary (MD).
