Box Score BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University Lady Warriors soccer team hosted conference opponent Johnson & Wales University Lady Wildcats on Warriors Field today at 1:00 p.m.  The Lady Warriors scored within the first five minutes of play on a corner kick from Gloria Gomez to Cierra Abundez who headed the ball into the back of the net, 1-0. The Lady Wildcats responded in the second half on the 52^nd minute as they scored on a penalty kick tying the game, 1-1. The game would end in a 1-1 tie after the two ten minute overtime periods.
 
Leading the Lady Warriors on the field were; Cierra Abundez with the Lady Warriors lone goal; Gloria Gomez with the assist; and Kayla Hannel with six saves for the Lady Warriors.
 
The Lady Warriors record moves to 3-4-1 overall and 2-1-1 in The Sun Conference.
 
Webber women's soccer will return to action on Tuesday, October 7^th as they travel to take on Clearwater Christian in a 7:00 p.m. game.
