Box Score Bluffton, S.C. – The Webber International University Lady Warriors traveled to Bluffton, South Carolina to face off against conference opponent University of South Carolina Beaufort Lady Sand Sharks. The Lady Warriors collected a hard fought win over the Lady Sand Sharks 2-1.
 
The Lady Sand Sharks started out putting the first point on the board as they scored in the 23^rd minute of the game, 1-0. The Lady Warriors responded with their first goal of the game as Gloria Gomez connected with Leah Parker in the 29^th minute to tie the game, 1-1. Then in the 80^th minute the Lady Warriors sealed the win as Gloria Gomez assisted Laura Borders, 2-1.
 
The Lady Warriors record improves to 5-5-1 overall and 3-2-1 in The Sun Conference.
 
Webber will return to action on Sunday, October 19^th as they travel to face off against conference opponent SCAD-Savannah at 1:00 p.m.
