BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University Warriors baseball team started off the season against Crooked Lake Rivals Warner University Royals in a double-header on Saturday, January 25^th starting at noon.

The Warriors would fall in game one with a final score of 2-0. The Royals would score their runs in the fourth inning.

Then after a short break game two would take place on Heart of Florida Field. The Warriors would jump out to an early lead in the second inning as #34 Austin Aubuchon and #14 Shae Cothran would score giving the Warriors a 2-0 lead. The Royals would respond in the 6^th inning scoring their three runs to gain the lead and win the game with a final of 3-2 over the Warriors.

The Warriors record falls to 0-2 overall and the Royals improves to 2-0 overall.

The Warriors will return to action on Friday, January 31^st as they host #24 William Carrey University starting at 6:00 p.m.
