BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University Warriors baseball team faced off against the St. Xavier Cougars for the second time on the Heart of Florida Field which started at 12:00 noon. The Cougars would come on strong near the end to win the game 4-3.
 
The Warriors were the first to put points on the board in the bottom of the first they would score one run. Then add two more runs giving the Warriors a 3-0 lead over the Cougars. In the top of the 6^th inning the Cougars would tie the game driving in three runs. The Warriors would change pitchers in the top of the seventh with bases loaded and two. The Cougars would score the game winning run on a passed ball ending the game 4-3.
 
The Warriors record falls to 17-10 overall and the Cougars record improves to 2-1 overall.
 
The Warriors will return to action tonight, Saturday, March 09, at 6:00 p.m. when they host Spring Arbor University (Mich.).
