Box Score BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University Warriors baseball team won their first conference game of the season with the final score of 2-1 over University of South Carolina Beaufort Sand Sharks.
 
The Sand Sharks were the first to strike when #10 David Greene hit a homerun down the left line in the top of the fifth inning. The Warriors would respond in the bottom of the seventh when #5 Billy Farrell would hit a double into right center bringing in Josh Longbrake and Jonathan Williamson giving the Warriors the lead and ultimately the win with a score of 2-1.
 
The Warriors improve their record to 2-4 overall and 1-0 in The Sun Conference. USCB falls to 2-3 overall and 0-1 in The Sun Conference.
 
The Warriors will return to action on Saturday, February 9^th as they play USCB in a double-header starting at 12:00 p.m.
