Warriors Fall to Sky Hawks, 31-13

LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Webber International University Warriors football team hosted Point University Sky Hawks on Legion Field and were looking to extend their winning streak. The Sky Hawks would come out on top 31-13 ending the Warriors three game winning streak.
 
The Sky Hawks would put the first points on the board with a field goal 3-0. The Warriors would answer with a five yard touchdown run by Billy Pavlock taking a 7-3 lead. The Sky Hawks would score a touchdown in the second quarter regaining the lead 10-7. The first half of play would end with a score of 10-7. The Sky Hawks would score 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter, 31-7. The Warriors would score the last points of the game with a reception from Mitch Choquette from Billy Pavlock, 31-13.
 
Leading the Warriors on the field were: Billy Pavlock 15 completions on 34 attempts and 20 rushes for 92 yards; Steven Willis had 9 solo tackles and 10 assisted tackles and one tackle for loss.
 
The Warriors record falls to 4-3 overall and 2-1 in conference play the Sky Hawks move to 3-4 overall.
 
The Warriors will return to action on Saturday, October 26th as they travel to Ave Maria to play in their last conference game starting at 1:00 p.m.
