Box Score BABSON PARK, Fla. -  The Webber International University Lady Warriors soccer team faced off against conference opponent USC-Beaufort Lady Sand Sharks in a 4:00 p.m. game on Webber Field. The Lady Warriors would rally in the second half to win their first conference match with a final score of 3-0.
 
The match started at 4:00 p.m. and in the first half of play both teams would be shutout. The Lady Warriors would take seven shots with six being on goal and the Lady Sand Sharks would take eight shots with one being on goal in the first half.
 
Then in the second half the Lady Warriors would find the back of the net first in the 48^th minute of play. Aubrie Strohmenger would score unassisted giving the Lady Warriors the lead 1-0. Then in the 53^rd minute Philippa Wilson would score assisted by Ciera Abundez, 2-0. The last goal of the game would come from Ciera Abundez assisted by Aubrie Strohmenger in the 76^th minute of the game, 3-0. The Lady Warriors would out shoot the Lady Sand Sharks 23 shots to 18 shots from the Lady Sand Sharks.
 
The Lady Warriors record improves to 2-5-1 overall and 1-2-1 in The Sun Conference. The Lady Sand Sharks record falls to 4-8-1 overall and 1-4 in The Sun Conference.
 
The Lady Warriors will return to action on October 13^th as they host conference opponent SCAD-Savannah in a 1:00 p.m. match.
