Box Score BABSON PARK, Fla. - The Webber International University Lady Warriors soccer team hosted conference opponent Southeaster University Lady Fire. The game started at 5:00 p.m. and the Lady Warriors were looking to start off conference play with a win.
 
In the first half of the game the Lady Warriors would strike first with a penalty kick by Ashley Palmer just 2:28 into the game. The Lady Fire would tie the game at the 36^th minute with a penalty kick of their own. Both teams would go into the half tied 1-1.
 
In the second half the Lady Warriors would dominate the Lady Fire scoring two goals. The first goal came from Ashley Palmer again at the 51^st minute. The Lady Warriors would score the final goal of the game at the 71:20 when Ciera Abundez headed the ball into the net off of Alexis Garrand's corner kick, 3-1.
 
The Lady Warriors improve their record to 3-1 overall and 1-0 in The Sun Conference.  The Lady Fire's record falls to 3-3 overall and 0-1 in conference play.
 
The Lady Warriors return to action on Saturday, September 22, as they host conference opponent Ave Maria University starting at 1:00 p.m.
