Warriors Continue success on Friday’s in Conference

Box Score LAKE WALES, Fla. - The Warriors Continue to play well on Friday's in conference as they improve to 5-0 on Friday's. Webber took on the Royals from Warner University this afternoon as they were able to take game one of the series 12-3. The Warriors sent Steven Arvanitis to the mound looking to continue his success since being moved to the starting rotation. Arvanitis was able to keeps the Royals hitters off balance throwing a complete game only giving up 3 runs while striking out 6. Offensively the Warriors struggled early to execute in key situation with runners in scoring position with no out. But the Rayals pitching staff just did not have it today as they struggled on the mound. Both pitchers combined walked 9 whiched helped the Warriors get innings starting.

Leading the way at the plate for Webber was Billy Farrell picking up 2 hits with an RBI and a run scored. Josh Longbrake, Shane McIntyre, Ryan Regidor, Jonathan Williamson, Hunter Ovens, Nick Pascente, and Taylor Mathis all contributed with one hit. Only 2 hitters from the Warriors were held hitless but still reached base safely on walks.

The Warriors will take on the Royals again tomorrow in a double header across the lake at Warner University with the first game starting at 12:00 pm.
