BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University men's tennis team defeated Ave Maria University 9-0 on Wednesday at the WIU Campus Courts in Babson Park. The Warriros improve to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in The Sun Conference.
 
Winning in doubles for the Warriors were: #1 – Valentin Bayh and Andres Riobueno, 8-4; #2 – Carl Ackerd and Tyler Heath, 8-3; #3 Marcel Schmitt and Alwin Leysner, 8-0.
 
Winning in singles for Webber were: #1 –Bayh, 6-3, 7-5; #2 Riobueno, 6-3, 6-4; #3 Ackered,  6-0, 6-0; #4 – Schmitt, 6-0, 6-0; #5 -  Joonas Jalkanen, 6-0, 6-0; #6 – Elias Zaghra, 6-0, 6-0.
 
Webber's next match is next Wednesday, February 15, at 2:00 p.m. on the WIU Campus Courts. The Warriors will be hosting Crooked Lake rival, Warner University.
