Lady Warriors Say Farewell to Seniors Natasha Dillnutt and Whitney Kelly

Box Score BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Lady Warriors celebrated senior day as they hosted conference opponent Northwood University Lady Seahawks on Saturday, February 18.
 
During the first half the Lady Seahawks scored the first points of the game. The Lady Warriors would tie the game and take the lead with 16:40 left to play. Both teams would battle back and forth until the Lady Seahawks took the lead with a little of 12 minutes left to play in the half. The Lady Warriors would go into the locker-room trailing 36-18.
 
During halftime the Lady Warriors celebrated senior day by honoring the seniors on the team. The first senior to be honored was Natasha Dillnutt and she was escorted on the court by Kerri McLaughlin and Keon Frazier. The second senior to be honored on senior day was Whitney Kelly and she was escorted by her mother Pamela, brother Isaac, and sister Michal.
 
In the second half of the game the Lady Seahawks extended their lead over the Lady Warriors in the second half ultimately winning the game 70-56.
 
Leaders on the court for the Lady Warriors was Sarah Dileonardo posting another double double scoring 14 points, 13 rebound, five assists, and one block. Leading the Lady Seahawks on the court was Sarah Pasetsky also posting a double double scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, one block, and one steal.
 
The Lady Warriors record falls to 2-26 overall and 2-12 in The Sun Conference and the Lady Seahawks improve their record to 10-17 overall and 8-5 in The Sun Conference.
 
The Lady Warriors return to action in The Sun Conference Tournament as they face-off against the #1 seeded Ave Maria University on Tuesday, February 21st, starting at 7:00 p.m.
