Box Score BABSON PARK, Fla. – Webber International University Women's Basketball team defeated Polk County rival Southeastern University 70-47 in their conference opener.
The Lady Warriors were outstanding from the three point line shooting a sizzling 52%. They made 12 3-pointers on 23 attempts.
Alishia Kahan and
Jasmine Singleton combined for 7 of the 12 3- point field goals. WIU dominated the game from start to finish with their aggressive defense. The score at half was 34-23.
The second half was controlled by the Lady Warriors as they held SEU to 24% shooting. WIU stifling style of play was too much for the Lady Fire to handle as they forced them to 23 turnovers.

Alishia Kahan had her best game for the Lady Warriors so far in the season with 14 points, 3 assist, 4 rebounds and a steal in only 21 minutes.
Jasmine Singleton led the Warriors in scoring with 19 points and 2 assists.
Yesenia Lora added 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.
The Lady Warriors improve their record to 1-4 overall and 1-0 in the conference. SEU is now 7-2 overall and 0-1 in The Sun Conference. WIU returns to action again December 14
