DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Webber International University women's soccer team fell to the #1 seeded, Embry Riddle, 4-1 in the semi-finals of The Sun Conference Tournament. WIU was seeded fourth.

The first half of the game was hard fought and the half-time score was a 1-1 tie. Embry-Riddle scored first on a goal by Martine Olsen in the ninth minute, to go up 1-0, WIU tied the score at 1 all on a goal by Ashley Palmer with an assist from Alexis Garrand. Embry-Riddle sewed the game up with a second half with three unanswered goals.

Webber International ended their season with an overall record of 11-5-1.
