BABSON PARK, Fla. - The Webber football team will be celebrating 2012 Homecoming this Saturday when they host Ave Maria University. Kick-off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. at Legion Field in Lake Wales. This is the final home game of the season for the Warriors.

Ave Maria comes into the game with a 1-4 record this season. The Warriors, who received a forfeit win granted by the NAIA, is now 3-5 for the season.

Admission to this Saturday's game is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for Senior citizens, visiting students, and children over six. This game is the unofficial championship for The Sun Conference as Webber and Ave Maria are the only two schools within the conference that plays football. Next season, Warner University will join The Sun Conference as the third team with a football program.

This Saturday is also Senior Day for the Warriors and they will be honored in pre-game ceremonies. “This will be the last time to see our team at home this season and I hope we have a great turnout to help honor our seniors as they enjoy homecoming festivities, “stated WIU A.D. Bill Heath.
