WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Webber International Women's Soccer Team defeated NCAA Division II Palm Beach Atlantic University today with the final score of 2-1. This marks the second defeat that the Lady Warriors have earned over an NCAA Division II team this season. They defeated St Leo University earlier last month.

Scoring for the Lady Warriors was Aubrie Strohmenger on a header off a corner kick. Alexis Garrand scored the other goal for WIU. It was an impressive win for the Lady Warriors and a confidence boast for them as they prepare to take on Northwood University in their next conference match Tuesday, 23^rd October.

The Warriors are in position to finish the season with home field advantage heading into the playoffs. They will host Northwood University on the campus of Webber International University in a show down in The Sun Conference. Kickoff is schedules to begin at 3:00 p.m. The Lady Warriors now improve to 8-4-1 overall for the season and they are 5-3-1 in conference play.
