BABSON PARK, FL – Webber International University's Baseball team opened up their season today, January 28, as they hosted Crooked Lake Rivals Warner University. Both teams ended up winning one game out of the double header.
The first game went to the Warriors, 6-2. O'gara, Ovens, and McIntyre all had a great game for the Warriors despite the slow start.
The second game went to the Royals, 2-5. Ovens and Regidor had a great game even though the Warriors fell short.
The Warriors record is 1-1 overall and the Royals record is also 1-1 overall.
The Warriors return to action on January 30
th as they face off against South Florida Community College in an exhibition game starting at 6:00 p.m.
