Box Score MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Webber International took care of business versus a conference foe in the Chester Robinson Center where they took down Florida Memorial University 70-64 and earned their first conference win on January 17, 2012.

Leading the way for the Warriors was David Marlar where he had 22 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. David Swan came up with 17 points of his own with 5 huge steals, and Luke Marlar had 12 points in the victory over the Lions. Gabriel Rutledge was big in the post, where he snatched the ball out of the air to have 12 rebounds.

Matthew Rolle and Bryan Porillo each had 12 points against the Warriors defense, but it was not enough to take the victory from the hungry Webber squad.

Webber International improves to 7-7 and 1-4 in The Sun Conference; whereas, Florida Memorial falls to 4-12 and 1-4 in The Sun Conference.

Warriors will be back in action on Thursday January 19, 2012 versus another conference adversary where they will take on Ave Maria University (11-5; 2-2) in the Sabbagh Athletic Center and the tip-off will be at 7 pm.
