BABSON PARK, Fla. - The Lady Warriors (3-4-1) were determined to win last night on the away pitch of Eckerd College (3-5). Both teams battled through resulting with the 4-0 win going to Webber.
It was overall an even match between the two teams' shots with Webber having 15 and the Tritons tallying 11. Warriors' Sam Keller had 3 saves contributing to her shutout compared to the 6 saves of Eckerd. In the 24
th minute Amanda Solis put Webber on the board with a free kick floating over the goalie Lauren Fernandez from 20 yards out. The teams concluded the half with Eckerd trailing 1-0.
The second half started off with both teams coming out with intensity.
Magen Carey assisted Jessica Morejon in the 56
th minute with a through ball leading into the box. This started the momentum with two more players from the Warriors scoring. In the 70

Brittany Cox from a through ball by Lynn Mcdonald in the 87
th minute.
The Lady Warriors play Thursday, September 22, at home at 4:00pm in their first conference game against Southeastern University.
