AVE MARIA, Fla. – The Webber baseball team lost to the Gyrenes of Ave Maria 9-0 in a The Sun Conference matchup.

The Gyrenes hit a three run homer in the second inning after an error which should have ended the inning and never looked back. The Warriors couldn't muster any offense only picking up seven hits during the contest.

Leading the way for Webber at the plate was Billy Ferrell who had two hits.

The two teams will play a double header tomorrow with the first game scheduled to start at noon.
