St. Petersburg Florida, - The Warriors baseball team beat Eckerd College tonight 3-1. WIU used 7 pitchers staffing the game. Will Arnold started the game throwing two scoreless innings then Justin Blue followed Arnold throwing two scoreless innings himself. Danny Bishop gave up the only Triton run in the bottom of 5th. Jesse Wigginton, Austin AuBuchon, Ryan Gibbard, and Carlo Galluccio each threw up a zero in their inning of work.

The Warriors offense was lead by Nick Pascente and Nate Goldstein who each had two hits. Pascente drove in one and Goldstein two. Josh Lonbrake, Alex Martinez, and Pascente scored the Warriors runs.

The Warriors improve to 25-17 overall and remain 10-8 in The Sun Conference play. The Warriors next game will be on the road in a Sun Conference series matchup with Ave Maria University Friday at 3pm followed by a noon DH on Saturday.
