BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber baseball team beat the Lions of Florida Memorial 12-0 in a shortened game due to the ten run rule.

Winning pitcher for the Warriors was Rob Lane who tossed a complete game two hitter. Lane collected five strikeouts in his third win if the season.

Leading the way at the plate for Webber was Hunter Ovens who had three of the Warriors sixteen hits. Travis Noland, Carlo Galluccio, Tripp Merrell, Nate Goldstein, and Alex Martinez all had two hits while Galluccio, Goldstein and Martinez drove in two apiece.

The win brings Webbers conference record to 5-5 and an overall record of 15-13. The same two teams will face off again tomorrow in a double-header with the first game scheduled to start at noon.
