BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber baseball team dropped their third straight game and second in a row to Auburn University-Montgomery 13-4. This brings the Warriors season record to 1-3.
The Senators jumped out early scoring five runs in the second inning and never looked back. They scored two more in the third, fourth, and capped off the night by scoring four in the ninth.
Webber tried to rally early in the game by tallying a run in the third and fourth inning and also pushing two across in the fifth, but all was to no avail.
Austin AuBuchon (0-1) started on the mound for the Webber and picked up the loss going three innings and allowing seven runs, three of which were earned, on six hits.
The Warriors will take the diamond again Friday February 11th when they travel to Lakeland, Florida and open up their conference season against the Fire of Southeastern University.
